Traditionally, carpet installation was exclusively performed by manual tools such as the knee kicker and stretcher. Over the past thirty years however, the fact that these products were not user friendly and time-consuming, have become more and more evident. Many studies have shown that the awkward positions the knee kicker (NIOSH-1980) require the users to be in, caused chronic knee disorders.
